Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our administrative processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, Quickbooks Desktop knowldge and keen administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the Club President. Meet with clients to prmote the facilty for their event. Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date. Coordinate logistics for events, meetings, and conferences, wedding, showers, including venue booking, catering arrangements, and payments. Complete the day to day bookkeeping duties which include payroll, accounts recievable, account payable and CRA remittances. Assist with the coordination of the Annual General Meeting. Assist with social media marketing content

Skills/Qualifications:*
Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications. Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously the Executive Council members, Club members, staff and the general public. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
