Learn more about the opportunities we create for students, employees, and our province at .NOTE: This is a 5 - month temporary position.Position SummaryThis position provides administrative support to Centre for Academic Innovation.Position responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides administrative support to the Centre for Academic Innovation, an Associate Dean, and their direct reports.
  • Manages scheduling, appointments, room bookings, and event logistics (e.g., workshops, guest speakers).
  • Tracks enrollments, assists with student and faculty scheduling, and ensures equipment is operational for workshops.
  • Monitors department email accounts, triages requests, and maintains accurate electronic/paper files.
  • Collaborates with departments to streamline processes and covers peer duties during absences.
Required qualifications:
  • Certificate in Office or Business Administration or
  • 1-2 years administrative experience in an office
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Excellent Microsoft Office, written, verbal communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates initiative in handling inquiries and works effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities; familiarity with D2L and Unit 4 is an asset.
