Based in Leduc, AB, this position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations of the Canadian operation. This position must comply with established policies and procedures. The incumbent will ensure that properly authorized business obligations are appropriately reviewed, verified and supported. This position will ensure the company follows obligations to suppliers, vendors and other stakeholders. The duties and responsibilities of this position require not only a knack for numbers, but also attention to detail and well-developed organization and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare, verify, and process purchase invoices (online & by post) verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
Greet and direct incoming clients & phone calls.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Prepare courier shipments.
Maintain administrative emails.
Maintaining filing records.
Assist in financial auditing procedures.
Assist with company events.
Other duties as required
Job Requirements
2 to 3 years of relevant administrative experience
Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Accounting Software
Ability to work within a team environment
Exceptional customer service skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Organizational skills
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Sense of urgency and ability to work in a steady-paced office
