Job Overview



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant - Student Affairs to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about student success and excels at providing high-level administrative support in a fast-paced academic environment. You will play a key role in supporting student engagement, managing records, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring the smooth operation of student services.

Duties & Responsibilities



Student Records & Case Management



Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.

Scheduling & Program Coordination



Develop and manage student schedules for academic classes, external certifications, and work experience placements. Ensure alignment with program requirements and adapt schedules to accommodate individual student needs. Collaborate with relevant departments and external partners to coordinate timelines and participation logistics.

Attendance Management



Maintain accurate attendance records and proactively reach out to students with attendance issues via phone or email. Implement strategies to boost student attendance and overall engagement in academic programs.

LMS & Systems Support



Oversee course content management within the Learning Management System (LMS). Provide basic troubleshooting and user support for both students and faculty.

Process Improvement



Analyze existing procedures and recommend enhancements to student service delivery. Collaborate with internal teams to implement best practices and ensure student satisfaction. Regularly review and update student information to ensure compliance with academic standards. Document student interactions, issues, and outcomes to support ongoing case management and service improvement.

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in administration, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Familiarity with student information systems and LMS platforms is an asset. A proactive, student-centered mindset and commitment to service excellence

Pay: $45,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
