We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data entry and customer service. This role supports the organization through many different departments. Admin will support current operations throughout many different departments including Payroll, Safety, Human Resources, Procurement, and additional support departments.
Responsibilities
Greet visitors and manage front desk responsibilities
Perform data entry tasks accurately using various software platforms including Microsoft Office
Support data entry from various departments.
Maintain digital filing systems, ensuring documents are organized and accessible
Assist with appointment scheduling and calendar management
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity
Manage correspondence, including emails and mail distribution
Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Requirements
Proven clerical or administrative experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
Experience with data entry and filing
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional office or administrative training is advantageous
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
