Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing monthly production reports, and assisting with plant inventory management. The role also involves assisting with the full-cycle accounts receivable and payable processes, including preparing and delivering invoices, following up on payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Set up new customer jobs, requests and quotes using Jobber
Drafting production drawings using AutoCAD
Answer and direct phone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service, representing the company in a positive light.
Schedule precast installations for customers as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to clients; on the phone, in -person, and via email.
Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Provide general administrative the support to management to ensure smooth operation of the plant.
Actively participate in the safety culture by attending safety meetings, reporting unsafe work, and completely week HSE reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience reviewing residential blueprints or drafting in AutoCAD is an asset.
Prior experience in the concrete industry is an asset.
2-3 years prior experience working in an office setting, performing administrative duties. Previous administration experience from a construction environment is an asset.
2-3 years prior experience working in customer service.
Intermediate knowledge of Excel.

Hours of Work & Work Environment
Hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM
Overtime may be required to support operations from time to time, especially during the busy construction season
This is primarily an in-office setting. Occasionally this role may be required to enter the production environment (plant) to attend meetings.
