We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Administrative Assistant
to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional environment where efficiency and customer service are prioritized. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Duties
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office
Handle filing, documenting jobs, and organization of office files to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
Assist with bookkeeping tasks and perform basic bookkeeping duties as needed
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, attaining job numbers
Maintain a clean and organized office environment to promote efficiency
Qualifications
Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office setting, preferably in the restoration industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong computer skills including data entry and typing
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality
High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative certifications are advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Scarborough, ON M1S 5A8
