to support operations at our Saskatoon office. This role has become available following the advancement of the current staff into another position within the company, reflecting internal development opportunities.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position provides day-to-day administrative support to leadership and internal teams, ensuring effective coordination of office functions.
This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions, but is not limited to:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Complete routine administrative tasks including mail pickup, courier/shipping coordination and document handling
Maintain office supply inventory and support overall office organization
Assist with accounting tasks (e.g., entering invoices, updating spreadsheets, filing accounting documents, assisting with month end activities, as directed)
Provide administrative assistance to leadership and other internal team
Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars
Occasionally coordinate travel and accommodation reservations, if required
Support organization of meetings, visitors and small on-site events
Maintain office and kitchen cleanliness and a professional work environment
Perform office errands and additional support duties as required and assigned.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all company-related matters
The successful candidate would ideally possess the following experience and qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Comfortable working with numbers and data entry
Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel experience is an asset
Previous experience in office administration; exposure to accounting or finance environments is an asset
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (for occasional errands)
Flexibility to adjust to workload demands, including occasional extended hours
Demonstrates alignment with AcuFast's core values
