Candidate should possess excellent organizational and computer skills including Microsoft Office Word Excel as well as QuickBooks, Sage 50 Simply Accounting. Possess the ability to multi task and manage time efficiently, work independently to prepare full cycle set of books including: year end accruals, support for working papers and annual adjustments using various software as applicable.
Ability to prepare HST returns, T4's and T5's, payroll schedule for annual salary according to tables, prepare correspond for clients and various tax authorities based on templates and draft letters.
data management functions: Scan/copy/file of original or digitally scanned documents into the proper digital or file as needed, retrieval of the documents from time to time on efficient and regular basis for support of audits, or legal matters.
Assist CFO in financial planning and analysis including dividend and salary analysis.
Recognize and promptly advise reviewers of problems encountered.
Complete regular reports to team scheduler with feedback and workload.
This is a six month contract position that could become a full time permanent position for the right individual.
