Job Description

Camrose County Public Works and Protective Services Department is currently accepting applications for a permanent full-time Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical support to the departments, as well as providing information and assistance to the public.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, with preference to those who have completed an accredited program for administrative professionals. Minimum of three years experience in a similar role Experience in a construction and road maintenance environment would be preferred Experience working in an environment the deals with water and wastewater systems Fleet and equipment management Competent knowledge of computers and the ability to effectively use applications and software including proven experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Great customer service skills Provide a clean criminal record check Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize Pay close attention to detail Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision Able to work independently and also in a team environment Familiarity with Camrose County would be an asset
