As the successful applicant for this position, you will facilitate a warm, inviting, and safe place for our families, as well as provide a variety of support to the rest of the Intersect team while contributing to the overall flow of the agency.

You can expect:



To work Monday-Friday, 8:45 - 4:45 with flexibility and closed on statutory holiday Support our part time psychiatrist & psychologist, as well as the weekly intake clinic A wage range of $22.63 to $30.38 hourly dependent on your education and experience, with a wage increase each year. Comprehensive benefits provided after successfully completing a 3 month probationary period including: a full extended health and dental package through Pacific Blue Cross for you and your family, and a confidential Employee Assistance Plan. Employer RRSP plan in lieu of pension plan Paid sick time, vacation time, personal care days, family responsibility time, and personal training time, in addition to accruing flex banks when required.

You must meet all qualifications listed below to be considered.



You have an Administrative Training Certificate Preference for those with experience working in the social service sector and/or with children, adolescents and families You have experience with basic bookkeeping and/or payroll. Must have computer skills (word, excel, outlook) and ITS equipment (fax, copier, scanner), as well as always being open to learning new things. Successful completion of criminal record check including working with vulnerable populations. Excellent interpersonal communication skills Strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making, analyzing, communication, de-escalation and conflict resolution Flexible, able to work well under pressure, able to identify priorities and manage multiple tasks Ethical practice in using discretion in handling information of confidential and/or a sensitive nature. Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture, history, and the impact of colonialism Display knowledge and respect of 2SLGTBQI+ community and identifying individuals
