About the job

As an administrative assistant, you'll support two teams within the Strategic Management and Corporate Services Branch, a branch that helps the Ministry of Natural Resources manage public funds, deliver services, and meet government-wide financial and operational standards. You'll be part of the Supply Chain and Service Management Section, which provides strategic advice and support to help ministry staff make informed decisions, manage resources, and stay aligned with provincial policies.



Your work will help ensure that behind-the-scenes operations run smoothly, supporting everything from meetings and approvals to records and reporting, so the ministry can focus on serving Ontarians.



In this role, you will:



write and prepare emails, meeting notes, and other documents manage calendars and schedule meetings for two managers sort and track mail and approvals keep a list of tasks and deadlines to help the teams stay on top of things answer emails and questions from staff and others track staff attendance each month
