Low Murchison Radnoff LLP, a long-standing mid-sized Ottawa law firm, is seeking a highly organized and personable Administrative Assistant with exceptional client service skills to support our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with clients, and takes pride in delivering professional and efficient administrative support.
Primary Duties Include
Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy.
Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly or escalate as needed.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Faxing, photocopying, scanning and updating information for all client matters.
Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical).
Preparation, process and delivery of invoices and accounts, reminder letters, payment of invoice.
All aspects of client matter from file opening to close of files.
Other duties as required.
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative role in an office setting, however new graduates are welcome.
Legal assistant/Office Administration diploma/certificate is an asset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, Teams and GhostPractice.
Excellent command of the English language is essential.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
