Admin Assistant for Adult Day Program for Adults with Intellectual Differences
This is a great opportunity for an organized, professional administrator who is able to efficiently manage multiple demands in a busy private adult learning centre. This role supports the Executive Director and Program Manager in program administration, communications, social media, event management, and projects.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration
Manage all aspects of office administration, including customer service; student attendance; enrollment and registration forms; accounting support; student and staff email accounts and access; curriculum orders; inventory & supply management; maintaining office equipment; facilities management, etc.
Communication & Marketing
Responsible for writing monthly newsletter, and social media posts/management. Responsible for updating the student handbook and admin manual; creating the program calendar; managing email distribution lists, etc.
Website:
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date information on WordPress website.
Events:
Responsible for the management of special events throughout the year such as Curriculum Night, Receptions, Open Houses, Staff parties, year-end events, etc.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
University or college degree
5+ years experience in communications & administrative roles
Superior organization skills, with a strong eye for detail and follow up
Highly proficient in the use of Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Slides, Sheets, admin)
Superior writing ability and communication skills
Website editing experience with WordPress
Social Media Campaign Management Experience
