Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various software tools. This role involves managing administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily office activities. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but not required. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are valued.

Duties



Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks Handle filing, document proofreading, and general administrative support tasks Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial record keeping Provide customer support through phone etiquette and professional communication Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings, record and prepare minutes of meetings Support medical or dental office operations as needed, including patient check-in and appointment confirmations Maintain organization of office supplies and ensure a tidy work environment Support team members with clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, and mailing documents

Qualifications



Proficiency in English, French and Mandrine. Strong computer skills including data entry, typing, proofreading, and familiarity with multi-line phone systems Experiences in business consulting is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is advantageous Ability to handle confidential information discreetly Bachelor Degree or equivalent required;

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
