Quebec's rental laws (Regie du logement / Tribunal administratif du logement)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our office operations and project coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
Duties
Manage incoming calls and maintain professional phone etiquette while assisting clients, contractors, tenants, and colleagues.
Perform various administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document management related to construction projects and rental cases.
Utilize office software and
QuickBooks
to create and maintain spreadsheets, invoices, reports, and project documentation.
Assist in scheduling appointments, site visits, inspections, and managing calendars for project managers or team members.
Handle rental documentation, lease agreements, and follow-ups related to the Tribunal administratif du logement.
Proofread and prepare documents for accuracy and legal compliance.
Maintain an organized filing system for permits, client files, and correspondence with contractors and tenants.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient project coordination and excellent client communication.
Skills
Proficient in computer systems and office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong phone etiquette and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders (clients, suppliers, tenants).
Prior experience in construction administration or property management is essential.
Knowledge of Quebec's rental regulations and familiarity with the Tribunal administratif du logement processes.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in French (and English an asset).
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
