Job Summary
Viacore Langley is looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, and experienced Administrative assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, safety-conscious, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They should be reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with various departments to ensure smooth operations across purchasing, inventory control, and logistics.
Main Responsibilities:
Inventory management:
Follow instructions related to inventory management from Corporate Supply Chain Team
Industry trends: Stay up to date with industry trends.
Report preparation: Prepare relevant reports for supervisors.
Belt allocation/Belt Cuts
Purchasing Inventory for branch needs
Collaborates with sales, service, and logistics departments to maximize efficiency in the purchasing and inventory control department.
Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
Sales order and Quote entry
Performs other duties as assigned
Other administrative duties
Skills & Abilities:
Certificate Required?
Previous experience in administrative/office duties preferred
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an asset.
