Job Description

Inter-Mtn. Enterprises Inc. is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant for an exciting career position.

Are you a self-starter who is results oriented and highly energetic? Inter-Mtn. Enterprises Inc. is a growing Kelowna based manufacturing company who supplies the outdoor recreation industry and specifically the ski industry, in North America.

In this varied position, while reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for high-level administrative duties, reception, and shipping as well as general office support within this manufacturing company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Reception, including answering phones for a multi-line switchboard & greeting walk in traffic

- Shipping & Receiving - extensive courier, trucking & cross-border shipping, managing all CUSMA & bond contracts, submitting any freight disputes or claims and general pickups and drop offs

- Maintain strong relationships with our existing and prospective client base and vendors

- Ensure incredible and consistent customer service is provided to all clients

- Maintaining company data base through Salesforce and QuickBooks records

- Booking travel and tradeshow support

- IT Liaison with outsourced tech company

- Filing, preparing letters, presentations and reports, executive assistance, managing calendars

- Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events

- Overseeing office equipment maintenance and repair

- Maintaining office cleanliness and communication with cleaning company

- General Marketing support and website maintenance

- Maintain equipment, inventory, and stock levels in a cost-effective manner

- General administrative support & any other duties and tasks as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS & ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Takes initiative & follows through on task completion

- Detail oriented, organized, and impeccable time management skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills Superior computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook

- Must be able to type 45+ wpm

- Able to work independently and in a team setting

- Resourceful and proactive, capable of problem solving

- Experience with shipping, QuickBooks or Salesforce will be considered an asset

- Some heavy lifting needed on occasion and a valid driver's license is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
