Position Overview
Imperial Oil Resources Limited is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant II to provide professional administrative support at our Cold Lake Operations site. The ideal candidate will deliver efficient coordination, manage daily administrative activities, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the department.
This position is best suited for an experienced administrative professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates initiative, and can handle confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to a department or designated individual(s).
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate conferences, and maintain records.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations using MS Office applications.
Maintain filing systems, handle mail distribution, and order office supplies.
Support data management activities including tracking, compiling, and reporting information.
Assist in planning and coordination of departmental projects and events.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
May train or mentor other administrative staff and lead small office initiatives or improvement projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Customer-service orientation and collaborative work style.
Ability to identify issues and take initiative in resolving them or escalating as needed.
