A.T. McLaren Limited is a Hamilton, Ontario based surveying firm, that specializes in legal and engineering surveys. We have been providing diverse products to a community of property owners, builders, developers and government agencies for over 60 years within the Hamilton-Wentworth, Halton, Niagara, Brant, and Peel regions. Our team consists of 25 driven professionals ranging from Ontario Land Surveyors, CAD Technicians, Field and Administrative staff. We are currently seeking an administrative assistant to join our Hamilton office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will report directly to management. Responsibilities and requirements are summarized below. This is an in-office position.
Duties:
Accounts Receivable - preparing interim and final client invoices, processing payments in billing software, preparing monthly statements.
Supporting Management - coordinate meetings, managing calendars
Client Communication - greeting clients, answering phones, client requests, accounts receivable communications
Quotations - client discussion, researching property, professional writing
Office Administration - running errands, general admin, social events planning, office policy
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills.
Experience in office administration would be an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
Post-secondary education.
Collaborative team member.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.38-$25.00 per hour
