Job Description

MFC Lawyers a boutique family law firm with offices in Guelph and Milton Ontario. The firm is looking for a Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience as a as a receptionist/administrative assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Answers incoming telephone calls, and scheduling appointments, updating calendars Scanning, photocopying, faxing and filing documents Maintaining and organizing files (electronic and physical) Communicating with client's including updating clients on matter status/progress and taking messages General administrative duties including maintenance of office supplies
Skills:

Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work independently Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly both in written and verbal forms Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel Experience working with legal management software is an asset Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years working as a receptionist/administrative assistant Legal Assistant College Diploma is an asset College degree is an asset
