Building on 50 years of experience, K&D Logging is a stump-to-dump logging contractor in northern BC and Alberta. We know what it takes to effectively run a large-scale remote operation and the support services that accompany it. From end-to-end forestry, including road construction and heavy machinery maintenance, we are experts in our field with decades of experience to draw from. Summary


In this role, you will be integral to our operations by providing essential administrative support that enhances our team's efficiency and effectiveness. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to community engagement and safety.

Responsibilities



Supporting operational activities by providing administrative and logistical assistance. Completing data entry for operations and accounts payable. Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems to ensure records are accurately stored and easily accessible. Arranging and booking employee travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies. Coordinating company events including logistics, scheduling, catering, and vendor communication. Processing monthly credit card expenses, ensuring all expenses are properly accounted for and discrepancies are resolved. Liaising with internal stakeholders, vendors and customers by phone, in person and email, ensuring regular communication, clear messaging and timely response rates. Adhering to operational and accounting policies and SOPs and working within established timelines to meet deadlines. Coordinating and/or executing assigned office administration duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Office, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint. Strong work ethic with commitment to accuracy and integrity of work performed. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to use financial software and ERP systems. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all duties. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to follow company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent. One to two years of experience in an accounting or administrative role.

Preferred Qualifications



Continued education in office administration, accounting or related field. Two to three years of experience with invoice entry and full-cycle accounting. Two to three years of experience with collections and credit card reconciliations. Two to three years of experience with event planning and/or office management.

Pay: $44,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
