Full-Time o Edmonton, AB

$20/hr + Commission + Bonuses



Neighbourhood Heroes is looking for a highly organized, reliable, early-riser Administrator to run the daily operations of our student-led lawn care and snow removal company. This is a hands-on role where you'll coordinate with technicians, support customers, manage schedules, and ensure our office runs smoothly.

Position Summary



The Administrator manages day-to-day operations, supports seasonal sales campaigns, coordinates technician schedules, handles all inbound communication, and keeps the office and warehouse organized. This is a key role that ensures our entire field team can work efficiently every day.

Schedule



Monday-Friday

6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

One-hour lunch

Full-time, in-person at our Edmonton warehouse.

Key Responsibilities



Daily Operations

Open the warehouse at 6:00 AM and prepare technicians for the day. Restock drinks, snacks, PPE, signs, and equipment in vehicles. Ensure technicians are dispatched by 7:00 AM with accurate routes and notes. Review and prepare routes for the next day.
Customer Support

Answer inbound calls, emails, chats, and social media messages. Respond to all customer inquiries within 24 hours. Update customer accounts and property notes in HubSpot.
Sales Support

Make outbound calls during seasonal campaigns (approx. 3 per hour). Assist with renewals, upsells, and inbound sales opportunities. Track all communication and activity in the CRM.
Scheduling & Coordination

Build and optimize daily technician routes. Manage reschedule requests due to weather or customer needs. Serve as the main daytime contact for technicians.
Office & Warehouse Administration

Maintain a clean, stocked, organized workspace. Manage deliveries, inventory, and purchasing lists. Complete general administrative tasks and follow up on overdue invoices.
Brand & Social Media Support

Interact with local profiles on Instagram, Facebook, and X. Maintain a friendly, neighbourly brand voice through comments and messages.

Qualifications



Sales or reception experience preferred. Current student or recent graduate in HR, Psychology, Communications, Business, or related fields (preferred). Strong communication skills with the ability to network, engage customers, and support sales conversations. Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems, email, and social media. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and positive -- especially during early mornings. Comfortable coordinating and supporting a team. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation



Hourly Wage

$20/hr starting rate with opportunity for raises based on performance.
Commission Structure

1% on inbound sales (from incoming calls) 3% on renewals and upsells to existing customers 5% on outbound sales to new customers
Additional Compensation

Overtime at 1.5x after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. End-of-season performance bonuses. $0.25/km mileage for approved driving. 7 paid vacation days per year. 1 paid sick day per month (stackable).
