We are an all-inclusive training company that provides work-ready training for unionized workers across Canada. Our training programs include fall protection, confined space entry and attendant worker, and mobile elevated work platform, among others. ACTI is also a leader in Virtual Reality development, using construction simulators to enhance classroom and online blended training programs. Additionally, we offer pre-trades training, funded by federal and provincial governments, to assist individuals in career development through our SkillBuild 9-week program.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented

Administrative Assistant

to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in

Microsoft Office

(especially

Excel

), comfortable working with

online systems

, and has excellent

communication and multitasking skills

. Experience with

QuickBooks

and maintaining accurate records of training materials will be considered an asset. Candidates with experience in the

construction training industry

are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform a variety of day-to-day administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. Use

Excel

for data entry, reporting, and record management. Learn and operate our

online learning management system

(LMS) to issue coupons, manage course enrollments, and coordinate proctoring procedures. Handle

client bookings

by phone and through our online platform, ensuring accuracy and excellent service. Provide general administrative support including filing, scheduling, and responding to inquiries. Track inventory and order training materials, maintaining precise and up-to-date logs. Answer incoming calls and provide helpful, professional assistance to clients and team members. Prepare and manage coffee for clients attending in-person training sessions.

Qualifications:



Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Experience with QuickBooks and online learning platforms is an asset. Background in construction or training administration preferred.
