Bigstone Health Commission in Edmonton, AB, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Administrative Support to join our talented Health Team. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Health Benefits Department, including, but not limited to, daily mail, data entry, filing, scanning, and minute-taking
Act as an advocate for all BCN members of the health benefits program
Work with the members and service providers in a pleasant and efficient manner
Provide program information, advice, and assistance to members and service providers
Maintain database and provider files, both digital and physical
Must be dependable and reliable
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy
Proficient computer skills
Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs
Education and Experience:
Certificate, diploma, and/or degree, and/or equivalent training and experience combined
Minimum 2 years' work experience in an office setting is a requirement
Previous experience working in a medical setting is an asset
Knowledge of the Non-Insured Health Benefits programs is an asset
Standard First Aid with CPR
