Purpose of the Position:



The Administrative Assistant provides essential support for the daily operations of a busy law office. This role involves performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks efficiently and accurately to help ensure smooth office functioning. It offers an excellent opportunity for university students to gain valuable experience in a professional legal environment and can serve as a stepping stone toward more advanced career opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Reception duties: answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, etc. Writing correspondence by way of faxes and emails Performing legal research and making formal legal documents Communicating with clients, adjusters and other lawyers Maintaining office files and confidentiality Providing office and technical support to Ms. Nizam Coordinating and scheduling appointments and meetings

Qualifications:



High-school education completed and enrolled in an undergraduate program Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work well with technology (ex. computers, fax machine) Attention to detail and good research skills
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
