THE ROLE
The Administrative Assistant - Community Recreation provides administrative support for the planning, organizing and delivering of community recreation activities. You provide administrative services to the Wing Recreation Council and Wing Community Council. You prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material. You schedule and confirm appointment and meeting related to recreation activities. The Administrative Assistant - Community Recreation receives, secures, and deposits cash.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High School diploma AND several years experience in administration or related field
Experience
In office administration
In basic accounting
In preparing sales reports
In drafting and distributing correspondence
In bookkeeping
In applying policies, procedures and regulations
In reservation systems an asset
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
