SE Design and Consulting Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to help our busy office with day-to-day office duties

.



Position Duties:



Assist bookkeeper with accounts payable and receivables, ensuring accurate data entry into Sage 50. Generate monthly invoicing. Assist with the operation of our project management system, including project creation, budget set up, reporting, etc. Assist with the onboarding process of new employees. Digitizing, filing and maintain organization of office files. Assisting in the maintenance of SE Design's safety program, recording monthly safety statistics, and updating vehicle maintenance records. Key coordinator of monthly safety meetings, including set-up, recording meeting minutes and scheduling. Proofreading and formatting of reports, proposals and/or other documents as requested. Formatting and assembly of tender and contract documents; involves printing, sorting, binding, and digitizing documents. Answering dual-line phones, directing inquiries, and taking messages. First point of contact for clients - Polite and friendly greeting, followed with addressing needs. Maintaining inventory for office and cleaning supplies. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:



1-2 years of experience in a similar role. High School and/or Post-Secondary Education. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and self-starter. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe PDF. Previous experience with Sage 50 is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills, managing multiple priorities in a timely manner. Previous experience with accounting and/or Human Resources Administration is considered an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Positive work ethic, and adaptability to a variety of office duties. Ability to work effectively in a team setting. Valid class 5 driver's license.
