About the Opportunity

The incumbent provides direct administrative support to the Manager, Central Intake. The incumbent functions as a primary point of contact for the Manager, providing response to general information requests related to the office or referring calls to others as appropriate. The Assistant provides confidential administrative service with high quality organizational and communication skills to assist and support the Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the office on a daily basis.

Office will be located at Fenwick St.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Graduate of a recognized office administration program / business program / secretarial program
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative experience OR a combination of equivalent education, training and experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technology and with information and meeting technologies
  • Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking, synthesize information, problem-solve and utilize good judgement in decision making.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
  • Permanent, Full-Time (100%) position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives

$21.58 - $26.98 Hourly
