The Opportunity: We are recruiting for an ADMINISTRATIVE AND YOUTH FACILITATOR (The Grove - Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario) There are two positions available:
Regular full-time opportunity (35 hours per week Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm with the potential for hours to shift to 12pm to 8pm) based at 737 Woolwich St. Guelph.
Regular full-time opportunity (35 hours per week Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm with the potential for hours to shift to 12pm to 8pm) based at 390 Main St. E. Palmerston. Please indicate your preference in your application. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for working with youth and supporting youth accessing the Youth Wellness Hubs. The role of Administrative and Youth Facilitator functions as a point of contact and communications link for the Hubs. This role will be responsible for orienting youth, their families and community partners to the Youth Wellness Hub Model. Administrative duties will include site and office management, response to both in person and telephone inquiries, some basic ECR (electronic client record), schedule appointments and register youth and families for service and activities. Data entry into the appropriate database is to be completed in an accurate and timely way. This position reports to the Manager, The Grove - Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario. The Grove - Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario is committed to the Equity Diversity Inclusions and Indigenous Reconciliation Framework. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in social services or administrative field or a combination of education and experience that will meet the needs of the position.
Course experience with health records would be considered an asset.
Relevant experience with children, youth and adults in a mental health/ healthcare environment.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, database applications.
Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity.
Knowledge of addiction and concurrent issues considered an asset.
Ability to work collaboratively in a busy inter-disciplinary setting and with formal and informal community resources.
Demonstrated belief in the values and philosophy of The Grove Hub, CMHA WW and Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario.
Valid driver\'s license and own transportation as travel is required.
