Job Description

The role involves planning and executing oyster farm tours, ensuring all details are meticulously managed. Additionally, the role entails handling various administrative duties, such as maintaining office systems, and supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting day to day operations, including but not limited to:
• Greet and assist visitors
• Answer calls and process emails for orders
• Procurement of office supplies
• Work in Business Central to create sales orders, sales invoices and statements.
• Provide support to management and participate in the planning and execution of oyster farm tour experiences
• Manage events calendar to create awareness and proactive planning and coordination within the organization.
• Conduct research to understand customer needs, including sourcing feedback from past events, and bring forward innovative ways to offer events to customers that add value.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop creative communication and marketing that connects customers to our farm and oysters.
• Assist the Operations Coordinator with maintaining office
• Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of office experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Outlook
• Extensive knowledge using Excel
• Knowledge of accounting software considered an asset

Other information:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8 Hours per day

Pay: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
