Growing kitchen cabinet manufacturer specializing in intermediate and premium single family projects is looking for an

Administrative and Project Assistant

. This position is required to meet the administrative support requirements for a variety of departments including sales, accounting, production and engineering related to a full schedule of projects in the coming year and strong market demand.

We are looking for a proven performer with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude that thrives in a team environment. This position is responsible to assist management and all visitors to the company by providing polite and professional assistance, answering or forwarding inquiries, booking appointments/meetings, receiving gallery visitors and contractors, responding to phone and e-mail messages, helping to collate sales and marketing data, doing data entry for accounting, assisting the production team, and directly monitoring project progress from commencement to completion. As a helpful and positive presence in the workplace this position is a key member of our professional team and regarded as a 'go to' person that keeps projects flowing smoothly.

To fully qualify for and be successful in this position you must have:

A minimum of 3 year's office/administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in cabinet or millwork production Proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Excellent office, computer and data entry skills Ability to generate reports/data accurately and efficiently with attention to detail Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to organize and maintain a variety of information, data and records Genuine desire to meet the needs of others; be proactive and contribute to a positive team environment Ability to work well under limited supervision with good time management skills
This is a stable, full time job offering a competitive hourly pay rate and a good benefits program. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, day shift only.
