Shift Hours:

Monday to Friday; 5:00pm - 1:30am



SUMMARY

The Data Entry Assistant position inputs and audits bills, processes and scans paperwork, and manifests loads.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize the flow of paperwork that comes through the window. Must be able to distinguish between the many different types of paperwork that come through. Data entry task required - includes photocopying, stickering and scanning of bills. Record shipments that are being dropped-off by customers. Recognize customers that require delivery appointments. Be able to determine the delivery appointment date and time for the appointment customers Provide customer service at the window for customers picking-up or dropping-off freight Work with dock on which loads that needs priority in processing. All other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Good Communication skills both oral and written Computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, outlook). AS400 experience is an asset. Accuracy and attention to detail, ability to be self-motivated Experience with Transportation / shipping documents would be an asset. Excellent time management skills, with a strong ability to work unsupervised and commitment to maintaining deadlines. Strong attendance is required

WORKING CONDITIONS

Monday to Friday weekly schedule. Hours may vary depending on shift coverage for vacation. Position is based on 40 hours per week.
