We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations within the office. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial processes.
Responsibilities
Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and document management.
Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Conduct account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Support payroll processing and budgeting activities.
Utilize software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero for financial reporting and management.
Manage bank reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial statements.
Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
Respond to inquiries and provide support to internal departments as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Administrative Clerk or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of account reconciliation, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in finance or administration are a plus.
