Job Description

The Family Resource Centre is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative / Financial Assistant to join our team. This role supports our programs, families, and operations by keeping information accurate, organized, and accessible. If you enjoy working with data, spreadsheets, and reports--and want your work to make a meaningful difference in the community--we would love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to register families, track program participation, and compile statistical data

Input, balance, and organize expense sheets for review and approval

Support report writing for funders and the Board of Directors

Provide general administrative support and maintain confidential records

Help keep our office and systems running smoothly

Create program promotion

Maintain equipment and supplies

Monitor emails, website and social media.

What We're Looking For

Strong Microsoft Excel skills (required)

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and communication skills

Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks

Comfort working independently and as part of a small team

Additional Information

Ability to lift to 30 lbs and walk stairs as required

Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
