This position ensures smooth administrative flow across the division, providing essential support to Social Workers and case management teams who deliver direct services to community members. As the central point of coordination, you will manage records, scheduling, contracts, event logistics, and office operations--all while upholding the values of respect, safety, confidentiality, and cultural care.
Your work directly strengthens Aya?s Me?n?men's mandate to protect and empower Squamish Nation families, creating a safe path rooted in tradition, healing, and community strength.
What You'll Do

Serve as the primary administrative support for Case Social Worker teams--managing requests, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining accurate case lists and documentation.
Coordinate scheduling, social worker home visits, meeting rooms, and appointments.
Maintain filing systems and upload documents into electronic and physical case files.
Track and process invoices, receipts, expense reports, and work with Finance on reconciliations.
Assist with the planning, budgeting, and reporting of seasonal community events and internal staff gatherings.
Support onboarding, operational needs, and troubleshooting for IT equipment, acting as liaison with the Nation's IT team
Maintain inventory of office and electronic equipment for the department.
Assist with intake package preparation, caseload updates, and delegated system requirements (ICM).
Provide receptionist coverage and general office support when required.
Ensure all records, contracts, and service agreements are tracked and up to date.
Contribute to a positive, respectful team culture and participate in community-based Nation events.
Uphold confidentiality, cultural safety, and Squamish Nation policies at all times
What We're Looking For

Post-secondary education in Administration or related field.
Administrative experience supporting multiple staff or programs.
Experience in Child & Family Services, Social Work, or community-based programs is an asset.
Intermediate skills in MS Office, databases, forms management, and document control.
Experience coordinating schedules, events, financial tracking, and multi-task workflows
Experience working with First Nations communities, especially Squamish Nation is preferred

Salary:
$47,000 - $66,000
Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. We are committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
