Answer and respond to employee and public phone calls and emails. Record messages for senior management.
Prepare and publish job postings on several job boards and make sure they match open positions
Phone screen and advise on job requirements for possible candidates
Conduct interviews
Coordinate and participate in the selection process
Notify successful applicants of next steps and decisions
Organize and administer on-boarding and arrange training for new hires
Execute offers of employment and all associated paperwork
Answer employee questions related to payroll and other HR programs
Maintain employee files, update employee data in HRIS and various employee databases

Competencies:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be detail oriented, organized, able to multitask, and keep thorough and accurate records.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to create and maintain good working relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Google Suite and Adobe (PDF).
Proven record of taking responsibility and using good judgment, including exercise of discretion and confidentiality.
Adaptable and flexible with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
Self-starter with a positive attitude who is comfortable working independently and with a team.
Requirements:
Must be 19+
Must be able to obtain Current & Valid Manitoba Smart Choices Cannabis certification
Must provide us with a current Criminal Background Check
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time contract position working 25-35 hours per week. At the end of the probationary period, the employee may be assigned further tasks based on availability and job performance.
