Responsibilities:
Answer questions and take messages in English and in French
Answer inquiries and provide information to callers in English and in French
Speak on the phone using appropriate etiquette in English and in French
Manage the calendar of the clinical staff
Set up appointments
Perform general clerical work
Ability to run our social media accounts/creating social media posts
Website knowledge
Knowledge with invoicing and insurance claims
The ideal candidate has strong soft communication skills and can easily recognize that in a psychotherapy practice the patients are coming to see us because they are in some form of distress and may not always be emotionally regulated. Being able to stay and promote calm in the face of discomfort is key. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both French and in English. Preference given to candidates who are comfortable with social media, and skilled at doing minor updates to a pre-existing website. Previous experience in medical office settings is desired, but not necessary.
