OverviewWe have exciting opportunities for Adjudicators to join our Claims Intake & Adjudication Service department to provide timely, exceptional customer service and to help workers with physical injuries.   • Adjudicate claims related to workplace physical injuries
  • Make timely adjudication decisions, which include disallows through proactive information gathering and investigation of claims in accordance with the Worker\xe2\x80\x99s Compensation Act, policies, practices and established standards
  • Gather information by telephone, and analyze information to determine relevant facts, and weigh evidence to make reasoned decisions in a timely manner
  • Review medical documentation and other evidence to determine the eligibility of workers for compensation benefits
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to workers, employers, health care providers, and other representatives to ensure that decisions are communicated clearly and understood
  • Support people recovering from physical injuries by arranging benefit payments and appropriate treatment
  • Ensure employers are involved in supporting early return-to-work

  • Operate proficiently in a computerized environment using Microsoft Office software
Your background and experience
  • A post-secondary diploma
  • A minimum of 27 months of experience making adjudicative decisions in the last 10 years
  • Proficiency in a computerized environment using Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
