  • G\xc3\xa9rer le compte de messagerie-courriel ;
  • Communiquer avec les auteurs, les responsables des comptes rendus et les maisons d\xc3\xa9ditions ;
  • Commander des ouvrages r\xc3\xa9cents aupr\xc3\xa8s des maisons d\xc3\xa9dition ;
  • Enregistrer les livres re\xc3\xa7us dans une base de donn\xc3\xa9es et mettre \xc3\xa0 jour les dossiers courants ;
  • Maintenir un index \xc3\xa0 jour des \xc3\xa9tudes critiques et comptes rendus ;
  • Poster les ouvrages \xc3\xa0 faire recenser aux auteurs ;
  • Suivre les directives des responsables des comptes rendus afin de pr\xc3\xa9parer les recensions pour publication ;
  • Effectuer les r\xc3\xa9visions d\xc3\xa9preuves des comptes rendus ;
  • Finaliser et envoyer les ententes relatives aux droits dauteurs ;
  • Organiser lenvoi des exemplaires de la revue ;

The candidate will answer to the Executive Director and will be responsible for the management of the publishing process of the Review Essays and Book Reviews. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Managing emails;
  • Communicating with authors, Book Review Editors, and publishers;
  • Ordering recent books for review;
  • Recording books received in a spreadsheet and maintaining the appropriate files;
  • Maintaining an index of books received and keeping it updated;
  • Shipping books for review to authors;
  • Following the directives as provided by the Book Review Editors in order to prepare the Book Reviews for publication;
  • Revising page proofs of the Book Reviews before publication;
  • Finalising and sending Copyright agreements to authors;
  • Assisting with the shipment of the journal;
  • Filing and archiving general administrative documents;
  • Creating and maintaining a digital archive;
  • Updating the journals website.
