Your Opportunity:As part of an interdisciplinary team, the incumbent will deliver community-based services to persons with a severe and persistent mental illness utilizing psychosocial rehabilitation principals and promoting client respect, autonomy, health, and improved quality of life. Duties include carrying out the client focused recovery plan, which supports the client in participating in activities of daily living, recreation and social activities, transporting clients to appointments and working with common resources and agencies to coordinate services for clients. Responsibilities involve working in interprofessional teams and collaborating with other mental health and AHS service providers as well as working in partnership with and providing consultation and education to a number of community agencies and professionals. Duties include travel. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. The Addiction & Mental Health Recovery Worker will be assigned to work with the Lac La Biche Travel Team.
