Role Overview



We are seeking an

ADAS Technical Specialist

to serve as both a front-line technical expert and a technical content contributor. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience performing ADAS calibrations and using diagnostic scan tools, who enjoys helping shops troubleshoot issues and translating that experience into clear, practical educational content.

Key Responsibilities



Technical Support & Expertise



Answer inbound technical questions related to: ADAS calibration equipment setup and use Static vs. dynamic calibrations Camera, radar, blind-spot, surround-view, and sensor calibrations Scan tool workflows for pre-scan, post-scan, and calibration initiation Troubleshoot common calibration issues, including: Calibration failures Target placement and alignment issues Scan tool communication or compatibility problems OEM procedure interpretation Assist customers during first-time equipment setup and initial calibrations

Technical Content Creation & Knowledge Sharing



Create practical, technician-focused content based on real customer interactions, such as: Technical FAQs and troubleshooting guides Short how-to articles or walkthroughs Calibration best practices and common failure scenarios Equipment setup guides and usage tips Contribute to: Knowledge base articles Support documentation Website or blog content focused on ADAS calibration workflows Collaborate with marketing to ensure content is: Technically accurate Grounded in real-world shop experience Clear and usable for collision repair and calibration professionals Participate in occasional video or visual content (optional but encouraged), such as: Short explainer videos Equipment walk-throughs Calibration demonstrations

Customer Support & Guidance



Support collision repair shops, glass installers, mobile calibrators, and calibration centers via phone, email, and chat Clearly explain technical concepts to customers with varying levels of ADAS experience Help customers select appropriate calibration approaches and equipment for their specific use cases

Internal Collaboration



Provide technical insight to sales, operations, and marketing teams Identify recurring customer issues and turn them into: Educational content Improved documentation Training opportunities Help shape internal best practices for technical support and technical education

Required Qualifications



Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration equipment Practical experience using diagnostic scan tools in ADAS workflows Familiarity with motorcycle diagnostic scan tools Strong understanding of real-world ADAS calibration procedures Ability to interpret OEM calibration documentation and explain it clearly Comfortable troubleshooting issues live with customers Able to write clear, practical technical content for professional audiences

Preferred Qualifications



Prior experience creating technical documentation, training materials, or educational content Background as: ADAS calibration technician Collision repair technician with ADAS exposure Mobile calibration operator Dealership diagnostic technician ADAS or diagnostic tool technical support/applications specialist

Compensation



Dependent on experience, generally C$50,000-C$95,000
