Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in educating individuals, particularly in swimming techniques and safety. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive learning environment where students can thrive and develop their skills. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, ensuring student safety, and promoting a love for swimming.

Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of students at various skill levels. Educate students on proper swimming techniques, water safety, and personal responsibility in aquatic environments. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a safe and supportive learning atmosphere by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, concerns, and achievements. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional skills and stay updated on best practices in aquatic education.

Experience

Previous experience as an instructor, particularly in swim instruction or related fields, 2 years required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages. A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Working with special needs is also a plus. Certification in CPR, First Aid, or lifeguarding is a plus but not mandatory at the time of application.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
