Alleviate Holistic Health is a multidisciplinary health clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our dynamic team, with evening and weekend availability.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Acupuncturist to provide exceptional care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional Chinese medicine and be able to deliver effective acupuncture treatments tailored to individual client needs. This role involves assessing clients' health conditions, creating treatment plans, and educating clients on overall wellness practices. The ideal candidate will be passionate about holistic health, detail-oriented, and committed to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct thorough assessments of clients' health histories and current conditions. Develop and implement personalized acupuncture treatment plans. Perform acupuncture treatments and monitor client progress. Educate clients on holistic health practices and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain accurate and detailed client records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide integrated care. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in acupuncture and holistic health.

Qualifications:



Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Acupuncturists of Manitoba (CAM) or eligible for registration. Diploma in Acupuncture from a recognized institution. In-depth knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Accountabilities



Provide excellent treatment services to address clients' needs. Must practice cultural humility and have knowledge and understanding working with diverse populations. Adhere to professional standards and best practices in conjunction with those set out by Alleviate Holistic Health. Maintain appropriate charting and client documentation. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Able to work independently and within a team environment.

Requirements



Possess the ability to treat all clients with the utmost care. Have up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR All practitioners must be licensed and in good standing with their respective associations.
