Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate acupuncture techniques such as trigger point therapy and acute pain management strategies. Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile, aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to explain treatment processes clearly to patients and answer their questions confidently. Manage pain effectively through targeted acupuncture interventions, enhancing patient comfort and recovery. Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and holistic health practices to support ongoing wellness. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided, patient progress, and clinical observations in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advances in acupuncture techniques, pain management methods, and relevant medical research to continually improve patient care quality. Ensure a safe treatment environment by adhering to all health standards, including proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.

Experience

Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and BLS (Basic Life Support) is required for emergency preparedness. Proven experience in acupuncture practice with a focus on acute pain management and trigger point therapy is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient conditions and tailor treatments accordingly. Prior experience in patient service and patient care environments that emphasize compassionate communication and personalized attention. Familiarity with physical examinations, patient assessment procedures, and the use of medical equipment related to acupuncture therapies. Demonstrated ability to implement aseptic techniques consistently during procedures to prevent infections.
