INTEGRIS Pension Management Corp. is a leading pension consulting firm, specializing in tax effective retirement solutions for small businesses and incorporated professionals. We are actively searching for a fully qualified actuary to help build and grow our Actuarial Practice.

Duties and Responsibilities



Oversea the development and expansion of Excel based projection models and actuarial valuation programs; review results during testing phase Prepare actuarial valuations and submit actuarial reports to the relevant regulatory bodies, clients, their advisors and other third parties, as applicable Work with the Onboarding team in the registration of new pension plans Oversea the expansion of the actuarial software used by the sales team in collaboration with IT; review results during testing phase Provide guidance and recommendations on the improvement and enhancement of actuarial tools to achieve greater operational efficiencies and to provide the sales team and financial advisors with enhanced communication tools Assist C-suite level and entrepreneur clients and/or their agents in identifying and meeting their information needs Build relationships with key financial advisors and applicable regulatory authorities In partnership with the Chief Actuary, establish actuarial procedures for internal use and document new procedures as required Assist in the hiring and mentoring of junior actuarial and administration staff In collaboration with IT and other actuarial staff, oversea the building of systems and processes in the administration of the pension plans

Education and Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries At least 3 to 4 years of pension actuarial experience, with at least one year in a leadership role would be an asset. Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, MS Office, and Outlook skills Familiarity with MS Teams and ability to rapidly acclimate to custom software High degree of attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong business focus Strong interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Bilingual in French and English would be an asset. Working knowledge of pension tax legislation and minimum standards legislation
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,110.19-$131,268.72 per year
