Principales fonctions :



Participe a la preparation des etats financiers and autres rapports actuariels sous bases US GAAP et IFRS 17 Valide les donnees utilisees dans les calculs actuariels et produit des rapports de verification internes et externes Assiste dans la preparation du rapport de l'actuaire designe et d'autres rapports reglementaires Supporte la production de projections financieres et collabore dans l'analyse et la production de rapports Represente le departement d'actuariat corporatif dans certaines initiatives Participe, a l'aide d'outils informatiques, a la preparation des calculs actuariels S'assure de l'integrite des bases de donnees utilisees Accomplis d'autres taches assignees

Qualifications:



Diplome universitaire en actuariat ou en mathematiques Demontrer un engagement envers la profession actuarielle, par la progression des examens, est fortement souhaitee Forte connaissance et interet pour l'informatique et logiciels : MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle Bonne connaissance des logiciels AXIS est un atout Experience en assurances collectives est un atout

Excellentes habiletes pour les communications et les relations interpersonnelles Solide esprit technique et analytique Sens de l'organisation et de la minutie Le bilinguisme (francais et anglais) a l'oral et a l'ecrit est necessaire pour ce poste, car nombre de nos clients sont anglophones et de nombreux documents provenant des clients et utilises dans le cadre du travail sont en anglais Bon esprit d'equipe

Reporting to the Senior Actuarial Analyst, the candidate assumes corporate duties in order to meet the departmental objectives.



Key Responsibilities:



Participate in the preparation of the financial statements and other actuarial reports for US GAAP and IFRS 17 Assist in the preparation of the actuarial report (Appointed Actuary Report) Validate the data used in the actuarial calculation and produce the external& internal verification reports Support the production of financial projections and collaborate in the analysis and production of reports Represent the Corporate Actuarial department on certain projects Participate, by using software tools, in the preparation of the necessary actuarial evaluations Ensure the integrity of the databases used Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in actuarial or in mathematics Demonstrated commitment to the actuarial profession through exam progress is highly preferred. Strong knowledge and interest for computer& software skills, MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle, Unix Good knowledge of the AXIS software, an asset Group insurance experience, an asset

Solid technical and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Sense of organization and detailed-oriented Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, is essential for this role. Many of our clients are English-speaking, and a significant portion of client-related documentation and work materials are in English. Good team spirit

Compensation Range:



$68,200.00 - $85,250.00 Annual

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
