Long Point Eco-Adventures is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals to join our team. Crew Members in the Activity Department are focused on providing an exceptional experience to all clients. The successful applicant will possess a positive attitude, great communication skills and a willingness to assist guests or fellow employees wherever possible. Job responsibilities include facilitating a variety of activities; Zipline Canopy Tours, Axe Throwing Tours, leading team-building initiatives, Observatory Tour, Other Adventure Sports and promoting 3rd Party Rental Services.

The #1 priority will be providing an exceptional outdoor experience to our Guests

Crew Member in the Activity Dept. responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Properly lead, demonstrate and safely guide guests through a variety of adventure tours Maintain the highest level of customer service and communicating with guests in a positive and professional manner Inspect and store all gear and equipment on a daily basis Report any incidents and complete Daily Guide Logs, Equipment Logs and Accident Reports when necessary Report any issues/problems from any department to department heads, managers when appropriate Use positive, open and appropriate communication with all staff members Act as an ambassador for Long Point Eco-Adventures both on and off site Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications:



Minimum a High School Diploma is required; preference given to those currently enrolled in or graduates of a recognized college/university Candidates must be 18 years old on or before April 1st Able to effectively communicate with both adults and children in group and individual settings comfortably Able to work well with others for long periods of time during a shift A strong work ethic, positive attitude and personality are a must Have current or willing to receive First Aid/CPR
Activity guides are required to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment. All activity guides must be able to work long hours outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and must be in good physical shape. Guides must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. Successful candidates must attend a training session and complete the required testing before becoming a Long Point Eco-Adventures activity guide.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
