We are a small non-profit organization that runs a supportive living retirement residence. We are looking for a part-time Activity Coordinator who is flexible, friendly and enjoys working with seniors. Duties would include organizing and running activities and events for the seniors, scheduling and managing volunteers, creating a monthly calendar, etc. Salary is negotiable and will depend upon experience.
Qualifications:  
1. A clear Vulnerable Sector check by the RCMP  
2. Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills.  
3. Computer literate.  
7. Training, or relevant experience, in event planning and management and seniors activities.  
8. Preference given to candidates with Activity Coordinator certification.
Training provided for the right candidate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
