Your Opportunity:
The Adult Day Program Activities Convenor is working under the clinical direction and supervision of a Recreation Therapist II. The Activities Convenor plays a key role in planning and leading daily activities for adults day programs serving seniors with chronic and complex health needs. This position ensures that all activities align with the Comprehensive Adult Day Program Best Practices Model by promoting engagement, wellness and quality of life for clients. The role will be providing life enrichment activities Adult Day Program to meet their social emotional and social needs and providing caregivers respite.

As an Activities Convenor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out entertainment, diversion, social and emotional wellness group activities for clients.

Completion of Grade 12.Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent. A combination of experience and education may be considered. Strong patient and family-centred approach with the ability to work within a collaborative team environment, as well as engage in the patient experience, from a site perspective. Demonstration of punctuality and dependability.Preferred Qualifications:
